From conceiving the idea or vision, straight through to completion, breakdown and clearing out – I am able to add significant value to the overall success of your planned event.

I have a reliable panel of contractors which I frequent to get specialist jobs done.

Conceptualise

Whilst the underlying business need is undoubtedly overruling, capturing the right idea for your corporate event is also critical to success.

My discovery session with you prior to engagement will enable me to appreciate both the bottom line expectations as well as the presentation desirables.

I will help you gather together your thoughts on the event in a clear, concise, coherent manner.

This sets a solid foundation to build the actuals of the project.

Storyboarding & phasing

The line-up!

This is where we put together on paper the alignment or order of proceedings.

It’s an ideal or best case scenario which we set as the ideal – accounting of course for reality, this just helps to crystalise our vision.

A few sketches detailing each phase of the program accompanied with a simple outline schedule – nothing more.

Design & staging

Once we’ve gone beyond the stage of mapping out the phases, we then put our minds to design.

Structural set-up, layout and arrangement before decor of course.

With relevant observation of health and safety standards and qualities.

Scoping

Size & dimensions are critical to planning any event and are derived from delegate headcount.

To ensure your guests have ample room and to accommodate them with appropriate provision according to the size and scale of event, we need to thoroughly scope out our plan.

Space comes at premium, yet under-subscription of space allocation can be both dangerous and counterproductive.

Services

Complimentary services such as corporate catering and dining are discussed at this stage.

We’ll talk through your preferred options here and cost implications.

Getting these options right make all the difference to the overall guest experience.

For a favourable outcome, we will tread carefully during the phases to make sure get the best results.

Budgeting

Cost management of corporate events is critical to achiving an all round success.

As with everything business, there are bottom line implications and an ROI to consider.

With a combination of experience and relationships with tried and tested leading contractors – I am best placed to helping you producing the most cost effective budget projections for your corporate event.

Projecting

I’ll help you put together time and budget projections to give you an accurate idea of the overall cost of the proposed event.

I send requests for quotes and proposals from a select panel of prospective providers for best price estimates.

A basis of estimate in detail is provided for every cost item – enabling the most agile approach to configuring cost projections for you.

Feasibility

I work with you to quickly make assessment on how feasible the proposed business case for the event really is – given the time and budget constraints in particular.

Our aim will be to establish feasibility as early on as possible, complete with contingency or alternatives to avoid future disappointment.

Contractor selection

Once we are sure that all prescribed practicalities are feasible, we examine together the array of contractor quotes & proposals.

Now it comes down to assessing the fine details in order to shortlist our preferred suppliers.

Once we have our list – I will make approaches on your behalf to secure the services for chosen contractors.

Logistical planning

Logistical planning and timetabling is now the key to ensure all collaborating parties are given appropriate accommodation of time and space to deliver optimal results.

There is a sequence which makes sense and works best for the most efficient set-up.

I work closely with contractor teams on-site for best results, with knowledge of the most efficient scheduling for working round one another.

Booking

Ensuring all contractors are booked and requirements fully documented and agreed…is another advantageous function which you’ll benefit from with me.

All booking details and paperwork is finalised having examined with the fine toothed-comb treatment to ensure ‘T’s crossed and ‘I’s dotted.

I attend pre-event site visits with contractors to take a first hand look at the conditions at the venue.

This eliminates any costly surprises, gets everyone on the same page.

Implementation

During the delivery of your event, I work on-site to provide project coordination support – ensuring the proceedings go according to plan.

Also, firefighting any potential issues with quality on the ground.
